Read the intro and click on “Get Case Documents” to download the PDF case file documents for the evidence you will need to read through and analyse.
Evidence documents in the PDF download include photos, newspaper clipping and the police report.
With this information you’re challenged with working out which pieces of evidence prove that the suspect maybe lying.
Once you’ve decided on the solution, click on “View Answer Key” to submit your answer and see if you have correctly deduced the answer.
If not, UCF provides you with hints to help you.

VICTIM: Madeline Deparde

Plot: On August 17th, 2006, 19 a year-old French National named Madeline Deparde was killed while riding her bike from the local grocery store in Sunnyview, Florida.

Ms. Deparde was in the United States working as an Au Pair for Scott Zion and his family. 35 year-old Zion was driving the vehicle that struck Ms. Deparde and claims it was an accident. [Source: Unsolved Case Files: Madeline Deparde.]
